Exhibition Hall of Collected Art

Through out the history of Charlie Surendorf, many people ended up with pieces of art for their own, purchased directly from Charlie, or new to them from art auctions and estate sales.  I welcome people to send us stories and photos of their art in the collection of 100 years of Charlie.  This will be the place to view art that is not in our collection, but shared by people who own them personally.  Thanks to each who have shared!  Cindy

Oil painting of Surendorf's house from his east side garden.        Oil Painting of Lings Chinese Store in Columbia

current exhibition This is a wonderful oil painted in 1946 of the Pay Ore Corner in Columbia California.  Surendorf opened his first studio in this location in 1947 where he would bring up young artists from the bay area and teach workshops and had this location until he was evicted by the town's new owners, The State Park Association in 1958 so that they could restore the building.
